Chat felt an eerie wind blow through the Alley it didnt smell right it smelled like that coon did before today he wonder if ben could smell it too

Chloe smirked, feeling the small trickle of blood wet the fur of her forehead, "It'll take a lot more than a bump on the head to knock me out. I'm fine."

Making sure not to wake either of his companions, Ben stood from his position and walked over to the baton and nosed the switch to its highest setting. He took the handle into his mouth with the button towards the wall of the alley and walked towards the blanket that cut his room off from the rest of the camp. He didn't turn it on just yet, not wanting the high pitched noise it gave off to alert anyone, especially if there truly was an intruder. He nosed the blanket open slightly, just enough to see out of while not getting seen himself. Then he watched, just watch over the camp for any sign an intruder might be there.

From his view point, he could see directly into the nursery through the thin veil covering its entrance. Ben nearly sighed in relief at seeing only the mothers and their offspring in there, but didn't dare let his guard down, not when he felt this ominous presence.

"But your bleeding." Ase pointed out.

The female dog letter her head. "Ben!" She called walking to his side. "What's wrong Ben??"

Chloe nodded, "Don't worry about it right now, there's nothing we can do about it at the moment. Besides head injuries tend to bleed a lot no matter the size of said injury."

Ben, startled, growled quietly, "Brown! Hush! We don't know if there's an intruder inside the camp or not! We need to be quiet! I need you to wake John."

The golden retriever tucked her tail, and lowered her ears. "John? Got it.." She whimpered dashing away to find the other dog. "John, John wake up!" She whimpered once she found him.

"I'll take your word for it." Ase whispered as the car stopped. "You think we made it??"
