"Yeah, I slept fine," Orion said, throwing a sideways glance at Alderic. "But it's pretty hard to get to sleep in a new place, huh?" he noted.

Ember just nodded in agreement with Orion.

A'ine agreed with Orion. "Especially when it's new after years and years of one place."

Alderic couldn't help laughing. "Not for me! I slept somewhere else all the time. It's just the lack of sisters that's different." Her looked at Ember. "Hey ya okay? ya seem a little quiet." He asked her she seemed quiet to him.

A'ine looked at Ember. 'Do you want me to deal with him?' She offered Ember.

Ember was silent for a bit, debating on whether to answer Alderic, or to allow A'ine to 'deal with him' as she had put it. "I'm fine. I just don't talk unless I think it's necessary." Ember said, knowing how cold she sounded.

Orion looked between Alderic and Ember, and noticed Ember shift nervously.

Alderic busted out laughing. A'ine looked almost ready to hit him until he spoke. "Man! You'd love my sister, Treas! She's a book worm and doesn't like talking." He said oblivious to if it might hurt her feelings.

A'ine smiled and shook her head. "Hey could we start moving towards the mess hall now?" She asked laughing turning towards the main building.

Ember had expected Alderic to laugh or something. But she was surprised when he mentioned his sister. "Hey Alderic?" she began hesitantly. "Do you think I could meet your sister sometime?" she asked timidly.

Orion nodded and turned, following A'ine. He glanced back at the dorms one last time.

Alderic laughed even louder. "no need to sound so scared. Unless you take her book. Had a horse hoof bruise for a week!" He hadn't realized it might sound offensive, he didn't really ever think of what he said before he said it. He started following Orion as he followed A'ine. "Of course you can! Well, depending if you really want to."

A'ine slowed a little to walk next to Orion. "She's fine. Honest. She's just nervous." She said quietly to keep the other's from hearing. "And besides, you'll get to see her no matter what. She's your class partner and she doesn't like quitting."

Ember stiffened. "I'm not scared!" She protested, not quite yelling. She was frowning slightly, but she relaxed when he said yes. Alderic's carefree attitude overwhelmed Ember, but he seemed nice enough. She quickened her pace so she was walking just behind Alderic.

"Your right, thanks," Orion said, turning his head to from at A'ine. "I doubt she'd skip class."

Alderic laughed a little. "Okay, Well you don't need to wait to ask me anything!" He said keeping a good distance from Orion and A'ine. He did a front flip and landed on his hands and started walking on them. He looked up at Ember and smirked a little laughing,''

A'ine smiled nodding at Orion. "Unless she was literally dying or something like that." She sighed. "Can i tell you something?" She asked. It had been bugging her since last night and she didn't want to tell Ember because she knew Ember would understand but not really get it.

Ember slowed down so she wouldn't bother Orion or A'ine, who seemed to be discussing something. She looked at Alderic, and her lips curled upward into a small smile. "You look like you're hanging from the earth. Like you'd fall into the sky if you let go," she said, contemplating what that would be like.

Orion tilted his head in surprise. "Yeah, sure," he said, a worried look crossing his face. A'ine looked serious. He hoped everything was alright.

Alderic smiled up at her again. "Well, I do a trick like that in the circus. It's pretty intense." He tried not to laugh so he won't fall over. "Hey what class are you again? I know you're not Equine." He asked trying his hardest not to accidentally hear what A'ine and Orion were talking about.

A'ine took in a deep breath. "Well, this is going to sound stupid no matter how I say it..." She sighed. "Well, I just feel awful about what happened to Jora last night. It really was all my fault..." She looked up at the sky. "To be perfectly honest I have no idea what I can do or why. I was so proud and that made Jora hurt herself." She wrapped her arms around herself like a hug. "Kelp's sake, I haven't even had ARMS for more then a few weeks!" She said staring at them as she waved them a little.
