Well... She was overthinking it a little bit.
Hazel went downstairs and to the bathroom to fix up her hair, just straightening it basically.
"Hazel! Dinners ready!" Her mom called for her.
"One second!" She replied back.
Her hand slipped on the flat iron and burned her wrist, dropping it on the floor.
"Ow..." She sighed, holding her wrist gently. It wasn't a bad burn, but it was noticable.

Hazel finally got herself ready, then headed to the dinner table.
Her mom noticed her outfit.
"What are you so dressed up for?..."
"I'm not that dressed up... Am I?"
Her mom smiled a little.
"No, you look fine. But you have to tell me who the boy is..." She smirked a little.
"I'm just visiting Brook mom..."
"Sure~..." Her mom giggled.
"Can we just eat dinner?..." Hazel sighed, embarrassed.
"Sure." She smiled soft.

Hazel finished her dinner, then looked at the clock. 'I wish it moved faster...' she sighed a little. She got up and put her plate in the sink and sat back down, waiting.
(I'm unsure if you want to do a time skip or not so.... Your choice lol.)
