Rookie smiled warmly and ruffled their head fur. "We'be been here since ten, It's almost lunch now," He pointed out.

All of a sudden that was a sound, it sounded like a muffled engine rumbling, Kit smiling sheepishly, it was her stomach.

"It's settled then," The red wolf chuckled. "I heard there's a good diner not too far from here,"

Malory nodded, "Let's go then." Soon they were at the diner.

After the group had ordered their meals, Rookie glanced up at a tv screen where the news was blarring.

Kit sighed, "The news sometimes has things worth mentioning, other times not so much." she said propping her head on her hands.

"Either way, it's good to be informed," Rookie replied. "You never know when there's a world threating disaster that needs fixing,"

Kit nodded, "True, but that just makes someone that was happy and makes them sad." she said with a huff.

Rookie nodded. "Valid point. I'm still gonna watch though, just in case,"

Kit shrugged and took a bite out of her meal.
