Soon, they made it to the top, taking them to a small shelter inside the canopy. It had two pedestals with tarps covering them.

Alex let out a whimper before slumping, shaking. Then she rose, her eyes and hands now glowing gold. She said in a firm, male voice, *I apologize for using your freind like this. Its the only way I can communicate with others.*
