Yuri makes up her mind and jumps on Kage. They soar into the air. As they fly, she scans the ground for any sign of a girl. Instead she sees a wolf and a demon horse. They seemed to be fighting. She lands nearby, and walks up to them. Winter turns around to see a girl and a winged lepoard. "Did Starfall send you?" she asks.

"I know Starfall, and I came here to help a girl named Winter and Theta" she said. She is surprised to see the wolf grin.

"I'm Winter," she says. To both Yuri and Demon she says, "We'll need more help,"

Yassen: "what is it with me and dragons today? i have never seen a dragon in all of my life but then i meet this strange girl and that all changes!" he stands. "and look!" he waves his bleeding arm in the air. " I did not know that ice could do this to you! i mean come on! can i not catch a break today!?"

Starfall: she shakes her head st him 'little one, you just need to calm down and relax, we will take good care of you.'


Theta: how did i get myself into this mess? again.... he thinks back to the way he had died just days ago.

Winter hears a noise in the bushes and Frostbite leaps onto her, licking her. Frostbite leaps off her. Her pups are standing behind her, with a pack of wolves and dogs of all different kinds surrounding them. "I heard your call. These are the dogs that howled earlier. They all want to avenger their friends, who were killed by them. she says, jerking her head toward the mountain. "Thank you! says Winter. She changes into a human, and walks over to Yuri. "I'm Winter, and you are?" she holds a out a hand to Yuri.

"I'm Yuri, an oracle," she shakes Winter's hand. "We should probably wait for Starfall," she says.

Thera wordlessly starts to work on healing Yassen's arm.

Demon: he gets jumpy at the sight of all the dogs. 'i know someone who i think would help us out,' and he runs off away from the dogs and people.

Starfall: 'i will only come if you need great help. i do not kill for pleasure. please go on with out me.'

Yassen: "you mean Odin, dont you? he died..."

"Alright," said Winter. "When Demon gets back, we leave!" she says.


Thera finishes bandaging Yassen's arm.

Demon: he runs as fast as he can, his legs a little shaky from him being so scared. i must stay calm he tells himself. he stops in front of a lonely home by the edge of the woods. 'Barten! i need you to come out to see an old friend!'

Barten: " by Odin's dear name, Demon. where did you learn the gifts of the tongues?" a bear walks up behind Demon.

Demon: 'it's a long story and i frankly have no time to tell you. Theta need your help.'

Barten: " i heard he died . Is this true?"

Demon: 'yes but he defied death and needs your help now.'

Barten: "does this call for war ,against those horrid demons? no hard feeling.'

Demon: 'none taken. and yes this is war we speak of.'

Barten: "count me in." the bear changes into a human and hops onto Demon's back. Demon takes off back toward Winter.

Silver: she lands beside Winter. 'i wish to help out too.'

"Thank you, Silver." she redoes her braid which was coming undone. She slips a tiny knife with sleeping poison in her braid just in case. She makes an ice sword after she is done with the braid.

Demon: he enters the clearing. 'i am back!'


this is what Barten looks like as a bear.

"Let's go," she said, then added, "Who are you?" to the boy riding Demon. (how old is Barten?)

Demon: 'this is Barten, and he is here to help. now onward! to the top!' he rares up and charges up the mountain.
