Jason cared a little because he'd helped Ash get back for a reason and a task,but he thought that just a small break from crazy things,the dragon realm still a little crazy to him, wouldn't hurt to much.

And it wouldn't hurt either of them, Jason or Puck. Ash, on the other hand, had stopped wondering if they were even coming anymore

If Jason had known that he would have felt really bad,because Ash was a friend now and he cared about his friends...well he wasn't sure if Lila was a friend or someone who found him exotic but he sorta cared about her...sorta.
