She squints and looks at the concerned oreads. "These guys are tornaapir oreads. Thorny apples, I think the name means in English. They're kinda poke-y, but that's just defense against predators so that they don't get eaten."

A smaller oread shyly walks up to him. It's mostly blue, but its tail is a mix of peach and pink, with the tail-tip flat like paper. It also has tiny horns on its head. Quite frankly, it's adorable, though that's the case for all oreads.
