Vexin then turned to walk back to the booth as his smile slipped away to somewhere unreachable,but he stopped in confusion on why Gun girl was staring and blushing a bit. "D-did I do something?"

She shook her head, also getting back into the booth. "No that was..." Electa shook her head again, unable to express it. She propped her forearms on the table, studying Vexin. "How did you know?"

Vexin shrugged as he slipped into his side of the booth,twinkle in his eyes gone and smile no where to be seen.Again. "I sorta...just saw when I touched her." He said softly,as if he didn't believe it.

The black waitress appeared, who I'm naming Dora, placing Electa's coffee in front of her. "Your boyfriend sure is a wonder, honey," she said to her, squeezing Vexin's shoulder.

Vexin still didn't smile again. "Thank you,Ma'am.But,with all due respect,I am no ones boyfriend and I'm no wonder." His eyes showed complete honesty.

"Sure you are! You saved someone's life!" And before he could argue, Dora left. As the waitress moved away, Electa stirred half-and-half into her coffee. "So...I guess it's a good thing that the car broke down," she said at last.

Vexin gave no argument,fiddling with that metal band on his wrist.Again.And again.And again. But he did give a nod. "I...I'm..." He seemed to give up with words,and just stared with tired like teal eyes at the table. He didn't feel proud or like boasting that he stopped someones suicide.
