"Oh. Okay. Well, eat until you're full, okay? If you need me to make more just let me know, all right?"

She nodded. "Thank you." She said,half sounding a little hollow other than her smile. She was remembering all the people she had hurt,killed,to make it out. She had made such a mess,a bloody mess,to escape. But the one thing that made it easier to justify was the fact that they had made her bleed and almost die so many times over years that she couldn't count the memories.

Kate watched D worriedly and hesitantly turned to resume cooking.

She ate,but even tho she was getting used to learning to eat normally it still seemed to make her flinch now and then as memories bombarded her rapidly.

Kate tried to come up with something that would get D's mind if D the bad memories but couldn't come up with much

She finished,putting the fork carefully in the center of the plate. "Ever since i could rem...member,every...thing inside of me,just want...wanted to fit in." She sang softly,Monster by Imaginedragons.

She listened, and her heart aches for D. She felt so terribly bad...

Her eyes closed and she seemed to have an easier time with words as she sang rather than just speaking.
"I was never one for pretenders,everything I tried...to be.Just wouldn't settle in."

Kate just about started crying

"If I told you what I was,would you turn your back on me?And if I seem dangerous,would you be scared? I get the feeling just because,everything I touch isn't dark enough,if this problem lies in me" She pulled her wings close and tapped out a beat on the floor with her left talon. Her voice was soft and smooth,as if having waited years to be let out just to be brought into the world to release feelings stuck inside that D couldn't release in normal speech.
