Red walked up and placed a hand on her shoulder, "It will be okay, nothing will hurt you," He said, feeling like he was also trying to convince himself that he was fine, "I hope," He whispered the last part as he walked down the halls.

"Thank you..." She said
A bit more calm now, she starts to walk a few paces, then sighs
"I-I think we should split up..." She says suddenly
"Then we might find Rat faster, and w-"

Kodi interrupts her

"No Faith." He said being a bit strict
"If we split up... It probably wouldn't end well-"

Faith interrupts him at his last word
"Fine. Then I'll split up from you guys." She says glaring at Kodi

She runs off towards the left wing of the building, not turning back to look at the others

Kodi turns to Asher and Red
"What did I do now?" He said confused

Red casts him a helpless glance as he follows her, feeling acward, he hoped that Kodi would be okay with Asher, "Faith?" He called hesitantly, what if he had done the wrong thing, what if something had happened to Faith.
(Lol totally me XD)

Faith paused and turned to face Red

"I'm sorry..." She says with her head down, not willing to look Red in the eyes.

"Kodi doesn't understand- Humans never understand anything we say, or do. That really bugs me..."
She turns around and starts walking down the hallway



Kodi sighs
"Asher? Do you know what I did wrong?"

Red nodded slowly, unsure himself because he never interacted with humans, "Maybe they just have different opinions," he said lamely as he followed her, realizing how dumb he sounded he added, "Humans are just like that though... that's one of their greatest flaws."

"Right..." She said in agreement
She reached the end of the hallway and looked up the stairs beside her
"So where would you think Rat would be?"
She asked looking at Red with a little curiosity in her eyes

"I'm not sure," Red admitted looking at the stairs, Rat could be down stairs, but that would be obvious where she was, if she was upstairs it would be praticle and unlikely.
"She could be..." He paused, thinking, then it clicked, "She must be with Trapper," It was the most logical and likely outcome, though he was not 100% sure... well only one way to find out.

"Ok? So maybe the Trapper is upstairs? Maybe?" She said, unsure of herself

"I'm not sure," Red said looking up the shadowy stairs, "You decide? I have no idea..."

Faith looks at the stairs
"Ok. I think we should go up the stairs. Just please watch where you step. I think this building hasn't seen a renovation since the 1800's..."
She started to walk up the stairs, the boards creaking under her feet.
