She shrugged. Why not? It wasn't like they were going to get attacked by angels. Well, probably not, anyway

Alister nodded and started the story

" Once upon a time there was a town centered in a lush meadow by a beautiful mountain. Within these mountains resided a beautiful goddess known for her bold and quite shocking nature. She lived peacefully in the mountains visiting the town for supplies she needed and items she needed to retrieve. One day a young knight spotted the lovely goddess and knew he had fallen for her.. Little did he know a neighboring towns prince had set eyes on the lovely lady. Both men fought and battled for her affections but she kindly rejected them both no matter how many times they tried for the fair ladies hand. Eventually the two men got into a grand battle resulting in the price being slashed across his noble face and the Knight losing his arm. This sparked a war between the towns and war soon reached the peace mountain side where the goddess had resided. Time passed with her trying to calm both sides but to no avail and years soon passed with no peace or calm for the goddess.. One day she simply had enough of it all and flew up into the heavens above before lashing out on both sides with a show of her strengths. Both armies paused as there leaders were stricken down along with many of their men and the goddess came back down to the earth below.. The both armies bowed to her and swore to never let war happen again.. and to keep the peace. Thus gave her the name Electra. A goddess of storms.. who loved her Tranquility "

Electa listened, almost intently. When he finished the story, she kind of stared into space, zoning out

Alister noticed and the ghosts of a smile traced his lips.. but it didn't seem natural. It seemed almost as if he had never smiled in his life.

She suddenly looked at him. "That's creepy..." She could have sworn that she heard that story somewhere before...maybe her mom or dad told it to her a long time ago or something? Either that or someone else had told her it.

" What's creepy? " He asked a little curious, unsure of exactly what she had meant by that.

The shutters closed and she said coldly, "a half angel."

Alister rolled his eyes. " What is even more creepy is that you are just looking at me like that. I am not a piece of meat. " He teased.

Electa decided to play along, so she raked her gaze up and down. "You sure about that?" She made sure to keep her face dead serious
