John smiled, "I don't let my daughter out with a kid I don't know for more than 4 hours." he said, Max's mom came up behind John, "John, are you trying to intimidate our daughter's friend?" she asked, John jumped a little startled, "Mary! Um, no." he said with a nervous smile, Max giggled and said, "Bye mom and dad." she said walking over to Owen's truck.

Max smiled as she got in the truck, "My dad gets way too overprotective, but when he does my mom comes to the rescue and makes him think again." she chuckled.

Max nodded, "Yeah, but my mom is less protective, she more of cares about the clothes I wear, she tries to get me to wear city clothes... and even dresses." she said the last part in disgust.

"Um...yes?" He said, pulling up to his house. There was four large stables, two of them not even filled up. There were a few paddocks and pastures, and there was horses everywhere. And behind all of that, was Owens house.
