(Who's fighting next)

"Hello there! I'm Blaze what's your name?" Blaze asked the scorpion-like hyena "I'm kind of new here too, but from what I've gathered, this is a coliseum where humans mix animals with the dna of other animals and force them to fight each other, but no one I've met has died yet, and you look pretty tough, so I don't think you have much to worry about." Blaze said helpfully.

(Umm... Frost and... Thief!)

Sara walked back to her cage, still upset. "Molly." She said to the sheep dog. Molly ignored her. "Molly I know you can hear me." The tiger growled. "Molly you need to stop this your scaring the others."

"What do you care!" Molly barked. "Let them be scared of me! That's what I want!"

Thief lifted his head. Now this was going to be an interesting conversation. "Oh be quiet. No one wants everyone to be afraid of them. No living creature in their right mind wants to be lonely. Then again, you aren't exactly in your right mind, are you?" he said, laughing at the last part.

Urne looked over at the strange scaled cat that had just spoken to her. Her initial confusion had faded away a bit, but Blaze acted like it was just normal. Yeah, fighting to the death as the human's bidding was totally normal. Fusing DNA into said animals to make them more entertaining was normal. The fact that it sounded like everyone either fought to the death or some sort of unconsciousness was normal. Urne shot a furious glare at Blaze, attempting to soften it as she wasn't really angry at the cat-lizard, "I'm Urne," she sighed, "Sorry for the glare. It's just that this sounds so awful, and someone like you shouldn't be here."

"No that's Okay. I guess I was a bit casual considering our situation" Blaze laughed. "No one like any of us should be here, really. No creature deserves to be forced to fight another just to entertain some jerk who thinks themselves higher than the creatures being forced to fight."

Molly turned at him and rammed the glass. "I'll rip your head off!" She barked.

"Really cat? Can't you see she is not in her right mind." Sara growled.

Thief chuckled quietly at the sheeps threat, but then thought better of it and decided to be serious for a second "you listen here, sheepdog. I don't care that you spent your life before now being nothing but a scared little sheep. I don't care that now that you're part dog you think you're strong enough to stand up for yourself without having to lean on anybody. You're strong now. We get it. You were a scared weakling and now you're a big strong monster. You want to show off how high and mighty you are, willing and able to ruthlessly murder anyone who comes within biting distance of you. Thing is, when you first got here, all of these other animals around us just wanted to be your friend. Now that you're like this you refuse help or friendship from anyone. You're not strong. You're just afraid of being weak."

Urne pulled her ears back, "I've just seen and heard what humans have done. They strike down lions with a single shot from their weapons. They cage us up and release us for entertainment. But even with all the horrid things they do, I never expected them to do this. I don't even know how long they've been able to do this," the hyena looked back at the scaled feline, "Just to get it out of my mind before it tears me apart, I don't think you're going to make it. You're frail and small. I eat things your size for a decent breakfast or snack. I really want you to live, but I don't think you'll make it far unless you escape from here, and from the looks of it, not even the mightiest of our kind could make it out of here without risking death anyways."

She looked back down at the floor in front of her. She didn't verbally admit it to Blaze, but Urne knew that she'd have to act like she had in the wild to live through this as long as possible. Friends would weaken her, get her to try and be nice. But she knew betrayal, and this was somewhere that it could easily run rampant. No matter who she was up against, she would fight until either her foe or herself couldn't fight, even if that meant death to either one of them. As much as she didn't want to kill, she would at the first chance. Her kind could scare off lions, and Urne had done it alone to a lone lion once, and she could do it again.
