Ravenfur purred gently, "always up for a challenge, if life didn't challenge me I wouldn't be a clan cat." She stated simply.

"If life didn't challenge you, you'd be a kittypet," Terror purred.

Ravenfur nodded gently amused "exactly" she purred in amusement.

Terror purred in amusement, then suddenly slammed her flank against Ravenfur's with incredible force.
"Lesson one, assume you could be attacked at any time from anywhere."

Ravenfur let out a startled screech as she rolled back to her feet, crouched low and shocked looking at Terror in surprise.

Terror didn't sttempt to press her advantage, a low purr rising in her throat.

Ravenfur got herself set in a balanced crouch, eyes studying Terror, eyes flicking around at her surroundings as she lunged.

Terror simply swatted Ravenfur aside with a blow to the shoulder from one of her massive paws.
"Ravenfur, by crouching like that before you lunge, you told me what you were going to do. Crouch and lunge faster next time, and don't be afraid to use claws with me. I can take a couple more scars. If you can touch me, that is."
Terror remained standing calmly, having only intended to point out how Ravenfur wasn't aware of things that happen right beside her but happy to teach a couple more lessons while she was at it.

Ravenfur grumbled slightly realizing Terror was right as she flicked her ear gently, not showing any signs of attacking at the time. Before she suddenly sprang towards the right stopping mid spring and redirected her body to the other side, swatting at Terror's shoulder.

Terror stood there and took the blow before rounding on Ravenfur and pinning her with a single paw, saying, "And be fast. You aren't strong enough to knock me over or do serious damage with a single blow, so fight as dirty as you can and try to strike places I'm not expecting. "
