Jason held out a hand to Ash again. "As I said,never know when the portal thinks "I can fly!". " He said jokingly,winking with a fanged smil.

Ash smiled at the joke, taking Jason's hand

Jason's tail wagged faintly as he saw Ash smile,yellow coming to his freckles around the edges,and he gently lead him through the portal,now gingerly taking both his hands and he himself walking backwards in case to catch Ash. He felt things go dark for a second and felt the familiar lack of earth beneath his feet after a moment.

Ash followed, not really catching why Jason was talking backward.

Soon as the light came back he quickly put his arms around Ash's torso and spread his wings as the portal flickered out once Ash was out.There wasn't any ground beneath them.

Once Ash could see again, he realized why. He didn't freak out, he kinda just watched

That really didn't help all to much with the fact that Jason was holding onto him best he could and trying to keep them from falling as he soundlessly beat his wings through the air,tail swishing so they didn't flip over unbalanced.

Ash wasn't really sure what he could do to help, so he didn't really do anything.

Well it would help it Ash at least held in tightly so that Jason didn't freak out more about the possibility of losing his hold on Ash. He tilted his wings and gently began descending into a graceful downward spiral,wide and smooth.A slow and gentle rounded slope downward.
