I'm new to this and I don't know how hatching eggs works really, so if someone else can do things to make my egg hatch that would be appreciated, sorry I'm not very intelligent in terms of this game right now heh...Thank you!

Hullo, Darkfire. Feel free to ask other players questions about stuff like Nurturing eggs and Hatchlings. People around here tend to be rather helpful.
As it happens, a player called Maimah created an illustrated guide to how Nurturing works. You can see it here--

Of course, if you are going to Nurture eggs and pets that people have posted in this thread, you skip the first three steps in the guide, because those explain how to find an egg or Hatchling that needs to be Nurtured. Instead, you click the link(s) posted in this thread and go right to the egg or Hatchling, without any messing about on Hatchery pages.

Different subject--you did a nice job on your Starter pet. Leaf Veins is not an easy trait to work with!

Oh cool! I think I figured it out...I clicked on the image and then 'Played with it' which I'm guessing counts as nurturing it, thanks for explaining that to me, I'll try to link it in...
