"Stop lying, god. Even Amber can tell you are lying and her head is filled with cotton," The girl said yelping when a fox barked and nipped her leg, "Hey! I was just kidding!"
She stepped forward, watching the two of them curiously, "Ah, gay love, my favorite," She teased, Carter's face going red, "Anyways, let's get to business. My name is Faith and my role in your play is the helper or a witch. One of those two."

He glanced at Carter and noticed the change in his facial coloration, he would have found it funny if he'd not been confused on his increased heart rate and weird tingly feeling in his cheeks that meant he blushed a bit. "Heh, welp. Hey Faith, guess I gatta say it's nice ta' meet you. They call me Kris, and this guy is Carter." he gently put an arm around Carter and gave a playful noogie.

"Cool, nice to meet you two," She turned to Amber, who let out a shrill bark.
"Amber says you should come with us," She said her hand lighting up a rusty red color as she lit of the now darkening woods.
Carter went even redder, realizing his face was going red he placed his hands over his face, "I'm not b-blushing," He muttered feeling flustered.

Kris patted Carters head as he pulled him rather close, but in a protective manner over the smaller boy. "To where?"

"To the tribe of snake men of course. That's where me and Amber live. Of course we are not snake men, but we do live with them," Faith said with a friendly smile as she walked deeper into the woods, taking the light with her, "You coming."
Carter tried not to die from being so close to Kris. His heart was starting to beat fast and his face starting to look like a ripe tomato.
"Should we trust her?" He asked enjoying being so close to Kris.

Couldn't blame him for enjoying the closeness, Kris was sorta holding him to his chest in a protective manner. He had a fair build. "Depends, but do we really know where the others are?" He said, his eyes hinting that his own heart was beating a little faster. The faintest pink colored the bridge of his nose and a little along his cheeks.

"Nope, no idea where they are," Carter added breaking free from Kris's grip to chase after Faith, holding Kris's hand as he face returned mostly to it's normal color.
Once he caught up to Faith he stopped to catch his breathe, not having a long stamina, "Are... we... there?" He gasped out leaning against Kris as he tried to catch his breathe.
(Whoops, I ruined the moment xd )

(eh, it's alright. Now Kris can stop being confused on why the heck his heart was racing.)

Kris stayed close, letting Carter lean on him when needed, he had plenty of stamina. "Don't know, ask the new girl."

"I have a name," Faith sighed gustering in front of them, the rusty red light disappearing in her hand.
In front of them was a village, it was pretty, the houses built in the trees, some where on the ground, all at different heights.
She walking into the village, Carter following slowly behind, Faith led the way to a large hut in the corner and pushed a huge leaf aside as she entered the building. It was huge, with wooden falls and leaves covering the floor. There where beds and it resembled a nurses room.

"Well, okay Faith girl." He said, smirking as he stayed practically right behind Carter.
