Conner whirled around and bared his teeth at the guy that had stalked up behind them. "Get away!" he fairly growled, his front teeth turned sharp and pointy. "No more asking." As he calmed himself down, he looked him in the eyes. "I'm Conner. My sister, Ariel just walked off with a complete stranger called Ash, and I'm going to strangle them both." he didn't quite mean to promise. "And you may be?"

Ariel sighed. Someone had gotten on Conner's nerves again.

Harper looks at the floor and nods. She braced herself for a mental and physical blow. Every fallen angel so far was mean to her except Ash
