I shook my head, "Nope, I'm gonna let him cool off before I talk to him," I said putting my hands up, "Is the pizza gonna get here soon?" I asked as my stomach growled.

Tails smiled and shook his head. "Get on the plane; I'll take you back," He sighed. "Knuckles? You coming?"

The echidna simply glanced up. "You go ahead, I'll catch up. No way I'm getting on that thing again..."

"What are you, chicken?" I asked smirking, Amy folded her arms, "I thought you were gonna let him cool off before you talked him." she asked.

Knuckles shot Sonic a glare. "I ain't chicken. Want me to prove it to ya...?!" He snapped, punching his fist into his palm.

Tails facepalmed. "Here we go again..." He sighed, going to fire up the Tornado. "Ready when you guys are,"

Amy stood in front of me, "I'm not going to let you hurt Sonic, you can punch me all you want but not Sonic." she said trembling, "Amy..." I said raising my hand, Amy turned around, "No Sonic, I won't let Knuckles hurt you." she said turning back around.

"Amy, Don't feed into it," Tails sighed.


Knuckles growled, not really an 'I'm-gonna-kill-you' growl, more of one of frustration. "I-- you-- UGH!" he groaned, turning on his heel and storming off. "Whatever! Let's just go, I'm sick and tired of this place!"

Amy let out a sigh of relief, I did too, "Ok, how bout we take Knuckles back to Angel Island." I said hopping onto the plane, Amy got into the plane.

Knuckles was already on the plane, looking plain annoyed (as usual). Tails glanced at Sonic and Amy. "Let's eat first... I can't fly well at night,"

I nodded and as if on cue the pizza arrived, Amy and I hopped out of the plane, I paid the delivery guy and carried the pizza over to the others.

Tails nodded a thanks to the delivery guy and started serving out the pizza. "So, I guess you three are staying the night?" He asked the group. Knuckles shrugged absently. "I've got nowhere else to go..." He replied softly.
