"Sure," the dark furred cat purred, curling up on the rock and trying to be as congenial as possible.

Ahh! Where are we going?! Where is my brother?! Who is Ravenstar?! Who is Ravenkit?! Am I Ravenkit?! Where is mom?! Is the cat holding my brother my mom? Is the cat holding me my dad?! I'll call the she-cat mom. The cat holding me seems scary. And where did al this.. white... powder... stuff... come from?! What is a clan!?!??!? Ravenkit thought in his panic. He squirmed, and Jaypaw was careful to hold on to him, but not hurt him.

I open my eyes and see my brother being held by another cat. Maybe I can just call the she cat holding me mom and the one holding my brother dad?

His green-yellow eyes snapped up to watch the ginger cat's face, making sure he was serious. "Yes," he said slowly. "Of course. As long as the rest of the clan supports my decision, I'm sure they will but just to make sure."

"I wonder where they're from...?" Dad says. Ravenkit looks at mom, and begins to shiver from the cold.
