"That's a pretty name, I'm Moon" she said.

My black eye blinked open. There was something strong. Not sadness... Love? I floated to the gardens, and noticed some sort of strawberry dog with the king. I smirked, then flinched as the grass around me withered to brown. I coughed loudly.

Akuma:
I waved. My black eye twitched, and I frowned slightly. "I sense despair." I flew off to the remnants of the town, and saw many things. What I noticed immediately was a Multifarious Monster sitting alone and seeming distraught. She had an olm wrapped around her neck and a blindfold over her eyes. I approached her, smirking as she stiffened. "Hello."

Janus:
I flinched, seeing an unfamiliar Wraith. Like every wraith, she had China white skin and perfect features, but her 'normal' eyes were red, and her middle one was lack, dripping some sort of oily liquid. It was a bit scary, but she seemed benign. "Hello. Who are you?" "My name is Akuma. Who are you?" Hmm. Civilized... "Janus." "Well Janus, what's wrong? I was just passing through when I saw you distraught." "Oh, it's nothing... Umm... How are you?"

Akuma:
I stifled a laugh. She was unhappy, and thus was affected by my mists. Not as much as a human, for they are weak minded fools, but she was like a tree, bending so slightly to my will. "Fu-hu-hu, I'm fine honey. Now I'm not going to ask how you are, I know you need cheering up." It was so easy. I was feeding her my poisoned lies, sickly sweet and empty, and she ate them like a famine victim ate a meal. I was just telling her what she wanted to hear most. It was what I excelled at. "Hey, Janus, come with me. I know a great fishing spot, if you would like that. I feel you an I have much to talk about. It's pretty far away, so I could fly us there." "Hm, okay." I allowed her to climb on my back, for I am about a foot taller than the average monster. We flew, and finally we landed at a secluded lake, surrounded by cliffs on all sides.
I dropped her off, then flew away again, much to her surprise. I can't believe she fell for it. The cliffs were sheer rock, no way to climb, and most of them angled inwardly, leaving a smaller opening at the top. There was a small waterfall from the island's river and a stream that fed into the ocean through the lake, too small to fit through.

Now she would be out of the way.

Janus: I panicked. But I knew there was no way out. At least Akuma hadn't been lying about the fish. In a moment, I had caught two, and Teri had eaten as well. Then he seemed to sense the small stream. I would never fit through it. "Teri, go through there, and if it's a way out, come back to me so we can find a way for us both to get out of here." He squirmed in agreement and swam out of the hole. Then I waited.

Teri: I wasn't going back. I needed to get help now. I swam as fast as possible to the town and once I found someone, I got their attention. It was the cat. She knew I belonged to Janus, she could follow me and find a way out. Once she looked down at me, I spun around and wriggled frantically.

"Wow... like a flower in the middle of a dark ocean." She said, honestly a tad surprised at her own poeticness

Teri: I continued trying to get Ako's attention frantically. I was blind, but I knew it was her.

Janus: I wondered if something bad happened to Teri. Luckily, I had embedded a small black stone on his chest that could make him speak with other animals and Multifarious. If he went to Ako, I wondered if it would work.

Teri: I had her. Janus had several words automatically in the stone. I have no idea where she found it. They were in case she was stuck and needed me to help her. I focused, and the stone, in the crackly voice of Janus, said the message. "Help me. I am stuck, and I have sent Teri to get you, whoever you are. Please follow him, most likely with lengths of rope, a lockpick, or so,etching of the sort. Thank you." The stone made some static noises and then I stared, as best as I could without eyes, at her expectantly.
