Griffie: The ancient language has been out of use for around eight centuries. Maybe whoever enchanted the book put it in code.

Griffie: The ancient language has been passed down by my family through the years, along with other things.

Sprite: why do you learn the language? *looks to the griffi*

Riorie: wait. So this is in an ancient language and coded!

"Code? Like Morse Code?" Night questioned. "I think it's a different language... in my pack I've spied on them multiple times. They hold secret meetings with the higher ranks, and I heard them speaking weird languages... I've been able to pick up a few words, but only simple ones like 'yes', 'no', and 'hello'." (That is a lot of quotation marks... Good think we're learning them in Language Arts lol)

Griffie: Zim-zala-bim-bam-ba-zolado-zoladem is a magic phrase. Meaning has been lost to time.

Griffie: And I meant code as in another language they thought no one else could speak.

Sprite: maybe yes and no are commands? I may read up on different languages... Including ancient ones. If we're going to pull that lever, I have a feeling whatever is down there will not speak modern day slang .

Griffie: Slang?

"Maybe if we ask certain things, the book will ask back and we reply with yes or no." Night wondered. "You sure know more about this than me..." Winter marveled.
