Jason's freckle scales turned that dark hurt pink but he didn't show anything other than a nod. "Guess so."

"I mean...if you want, I could just put my old clothes back on," he offered

"No,you can't keep on turn up and bloodied cloths.Come on,I'll just scan the tags." He said,lighting his markings and letting white tendrils swirl into a glowing sphere before dissipating and dropping a card into his hand. "Don't ask,I just have a job and haven't had time to work recently.I don't pull fast ones on adults unless I'm dashin' for the hills."

"Isn't that exactly what we're doing?"

He sighed,running a hand through his hair. "Nevermind."

Ash watched him, falling silent."

Jason was thinking for a moment,staring at the ground with eyes that darted a little over the tile. He sighed then and closed his eyes. Forced dark purple washed over his freckles and scales,drowning out the stressed and hurt colores of over thinking things. "Sorry...."
