Sonic flicked an ear. "Your welcome," He muttered, gently nudging her hand off the cut. "Now stay here. I'm gonna go pester Kncukles for a bandage,"

Kit nodded, she tried to keep her hand off her wound, she clenched her teeth as tears of pain started to fall.

Sonic zipped off and returned a little over five minutes later, Knuckles right behind him.
"...What made you think that I, of all people, had acsess to 'actual' bandages?"
"Because you've lived here for years and never died of an injury,"
"Look, just use the leaves, okay?"
"Okay!"

Kit was really trying not to touch her wound, but it hurt so much, a whimper of pain escaped her mouth.

Knuckles rolled his eyes and leaned up against a tree as Sonic stooped down next to Kit. He casually began wrapping a long strip of a leaf to bind the wound. "It doesn't look that bad, actually," Knuckles said absently. "Better to have a clean, deep cut then an irregular shallow one,"

Kit stayed as still as possible, she looked at her now destroyed mechanical wings, "All that work for nothing." she muttered.

Sonic huffed. "I'm sorry, but I didn't hear you giving me any other options, and we were running out of time. I had to do something unless you wanted to crash,"

Knuckles scoffed.

Kit glared at Knux, "It's a good thing the backpack compartment wasn't destroyed, that's where the blueprints are." she said with a sigh of relief.

"Yeah. Good thing," Sonic mittered, tying off the makeshift bandage. "There you go,"

Kit smiled, "Thanks." she said standing up, Midnight popped up on Kit's visor, "Are you ok, your heart rate is off the charts!" Kit sighed, "It's ok Midnight, I just got a little scared." Midnight did not look convinced, "Ok, really scared." Midnight nodded.
