The puppy barks happily, hearing her footsteps, he sprints after her, his small legs unable to keep up with her as he slides across the floor and past her.

She stares at it in confusion, then stops walking and kneels down, holding out one hand.

It slowly crawls on its belly towards her, sniffing her hand hesitantly. It suddenly wags it's tail, barking happily and licking her hand.
(I'll play the dog from now on if you keep her as a constant character.)

Shes wary at first, but after a few licks she smiles and pets the dog.
