"come on warren, we need to go!" she whisper yells.

Warren's eyes open to the smallest crack. ". . .w-what?" His left eye, the one that had glowed to such brilliance, looks like fractured crystal.

"we need to go come on before they come back." she whispers

"Okay. Okay. Just lemme - " Warren tries to sit up, but grabs his stomach. "Ow - "

You can hear distant rustling. The group might be reforming.

"come on hurry!" she whisper yells looking scared

Warren manages to stand, somehow. "You do realize that these guys are literally my coworkers, and are afraid to kill me."

"yeah but i dont want in a cage again," she says running into a bush "you coming or not!"

"Yeah, I'm coming. I don't want to work again." He goes into the foliage after her.

Just in time, too. The group of five people burst into the clearing. After seeing that Warren is somehow gone, they just sit there.

"I bet that stupid thing ate him," one says.

"Doubt it. He's resilient, and ever since 412213 bit him, he's been even more so. Probably just went inside."

The group argue over which assumpition is correct, plenty of noise for you to escape over.

she runs faster into the woods finding a clearing to stop in "lets rest i think they are far enough away from her." she says out of breath.

"Good call," Warren says. He immeadiately falls forward. If it weren't for the fact that he managed to catch himself on a trunk, he would've fallen onto you. It's awkward positioning either way. "Oh. Sorry."
