The otter, noticing how the girl was watching, used his incredible stunts to get up to the window, looking in back at the girl.

Blue screamed and hid under her bed crying. "Shadow! I'm scared!"

The otter stared confused for a few seconds, before dropping off back into his human's arms.

Blue looked out the window again, shiver with fear. Shadow nuzzled Blue's arm and Blue seemed to calm down a bit.

Kai waved to a figure somewhere else, then said goodbye to the kids before joining the other boy.

Blue sighed with relief as the boy left. "Thank goodness the stranger left, i wonder what they are doing here anyways!" Blue said quietly and hugged Shadow.

Loud screaming was suddenly heard from down the street. People were seen running and fleeing, but it wasn't enough to escape from some animals attacking, big and strong animals, which were followed by people with dark purple/black cloaks, all brandishing large weapons.

Blue heard the screaming and cried. "Sh.. Shadow! What do we do?" Blue said as she looked around her room. Blue ran down the stairs, Shadow by her side looking for her mom and dad but saw no one. "Mom and dad must have gone off lot work already, which means... we're alone!" Blue said. Blue dug through the kitchen drawers and pulled out a steak knife. She ran back up to her room and hid in the closet crying quietly, the steak knife in hand.

A crashing sound was heard as someone jumped in through the window. "Hey, go get rienforcements and come back for me here, I promise I'll be fine, please be safe, I believe in you" A voice said.
