"You go ahead, I'm going to stay here with him. I know how it feels to wake up alone." Miles said with a sad smile. "I'll catch you after lunch."

"I can bring you some and eat in here with you." Luna offered. She didn't really want to leave but she was tired and incredibly hungry.

"No it's fine, I don't want to be a bother." Miles said getting up and making the dog a bed in one of the empty kennels. "I'll just finish up in here so we aren't behind." He said.

Luna watched as he made a bed for the dog "if you wanna move him in their you'll have to help me carry him as straight as possible so that we don't re open the wounds." Luna said walking towards the dogs head and getting ready to carry him.

"You go ahead and go home Luna I'll help him with the dog. You need a rest, and a change of clothes." The rescuer said gentle pushing her away from the dog.

"Oh ok." Luna said a little disappointed. "I'll leave some lunch in the fridge for you ok." She told Miles then slowly headed out the door. Why do they always think I work to hard? I'm not that tired Just then Luna yawned. Miranda heard her "Luna go home!" She called out sternly but sweetly. Luna groaned "fine, but I'm really not that tired." She said as she slowly shuffled to the door. She could hear Miranda laughing softly as she pushed open the door and started to walk home.

"I'll have..." Nant looked down the list quickly, "the bangers and mash, with gravy, Thanks!" She also handed over the menu. "Shane?" she asked, realising he hadnt looked at the menu. "What are you having?"

"Uhh..." I look at the menu quickly and choose the first thing that I think I might like. "I'll have steak, medium rare." I think steak is meat? I vaguely remember my father having it when I was a child.

Nicole bit her lip she was extremely excited about the tacos " So what have you all been doing?"

"Waiting for you," I said. I look around, feeling a little weirded out at being bsck in town. "It's really different here than the forest, isn't it?"
