Selkie took another step back, "Uh thank you."
The snake lunged at Selkie and got a mouse.
Selkie shot Kaladin a look.

"I am saying that if we have the light it will weaken our eyesight and the light serves as a beakon for whoever is attacking." Moragn reasoned.
"Put it out Caradoc." Blue agreed.
Caradoc put it out.

Kaladin shrugged. "Bringing the snake along was your idea. I just thought he could be useful." He said sheepishly. "He should be able to keep the rats in check on his own, though I will admit a wolf would have been ideal...."

"Or a cat. Besides the reason I brought the snake along was because Cutlas is terrifide of them even so Houston and Red are going to help as well." Selkie explained. "They need something to do without getting into trouble."

"Ah. Point." Collin agreed. "But... we still can't tell where the opponent is--" He ducked as and arrow flew at him.

Blue held up his shield as an arrow struck it.
"Holt seek." Morgan comamded.
Holt followed his nose into the dark and tried his best to track the enemy.
"No luck if Holt can't track it no horse can." Morgan told them.

Kal frowned. "Should I take him back, then?" He asked.

"No Houston likes snakes and Red can work with Houston. Can you stand guard over Cutlas until the job is over?" Selkie spoke.

"No joking!" Collin agreed.

"No joking." Blue said, "Holt wasn't orignally a war horse he was a tracker's horse from Northern lands."
Holt snorted in agreement.
