The boy grabbed Aria, looking a bit angry as he pressed the knife against her throat.
"Give. Me. The. Cat," He growled angrily glaring at Emily, who was laying on the other side of the room, trembling, "Or I'll her too!"

Aria stayed still, she didn't want to be killed but if it happened then so be it. She thought about it.

Fawn took one more step.
"She is one of us. Are you really going to kill one of our own to kill another one of our own?" She asked softly.

Chase held himself back, he wanted to kill the boy but not when Aria was so close to him.

Aria closed her eyes, not wanting to look.

The boy thought about that, eyes glowing as he turned invisible. I can wait for my revenge... it'll be fun, his thoughts whispered as he let go of Aria, casually opening the door and leaving.

Emily was still trembling. She meowed, looking at Aria with adorable cat expression. She's okay! That was my fault though, should I apologize? Well, it's not like I can talk, she thought padding over to Aria, meowing again.

Aria dropped to the floor after he let go of her, landing on her knees. Fawn was to interested in the boy's thoughts, as he left. 'Revenge?...' She asked herself.
Chase quickly went over to her to see if she was ok.
"I'm fine..." Aria said to Chase, then noticed Emily and petted her head, with a soft smile.

Emily meowed, nuzzling against Aria. She let out a small purr, glad she was okay. Her tail swished happily. I'm glad she is okay! Was it my fault, it felt like my fault, she closed her eyes, clearing her mind of her unwanted thoughts.

Aria continued to pet Emily.

Fawn finally snapped out of it and sighed slightly.

Chase heard her and turned to her.
"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Oh... Uh nothing. Just a little tired..." She lied.
"Ok..."
Fawn smiled a little. She didn't want to tell them about what was going to happen, she didn't want them stressed.

Emily turned to look at Fawn for a second, Not a very good lair, is she? Wonder what's bothering her, she turned back to Aria, meowing happily. She jumped into Aria's arms or at least tried to, glad she couldn't blush as a cat.

Aria laughed softly. Chase stood up and went to the living room, he grabbed the laptop from the couch and gave it to Fawn.
"Here, find somewhere to stay. We are going to have to move again. That rat will find this place again."
"Ok " Fawn said, opening the laptop and started typing.

Emily meowed again, hitting Aria with her soft paws. She nuzzled against her, purring softly. She couldn't help but feel guilty, still feeling like it was her fault.

Aria couldn't tell she was feeling guilty, she just kept on petting her head gently.

"Have you found anything yet Fawn?" He asked.

"No... Not yet." She continued to look.
