Duskstar woke quite awhile later in her den but froze when she picked up an unfamiliar scent. It was another cat, a male but she couldn't see in the darkness well enough yet. Call out and I'll kill you without hesitation. He had a deep voice, his threat clearly not fake as she laid as still as possible.
