20k's a lot to ask, and I haven't seen you on the group before. But it's always good to see a new face, and to help out another Nyvene lover. Send me a trade, I'd be glad to give it to you.

Hello everyone! I noticed that there has been a lot of inactivity on this forum. Now, I can't say that I have been on, all the time, because that would be a lie. But it made me really sad to see this, since this was the first guild I joined and my favorite. So I cleared it with Minifang, and got permission to hold a design contest!

Now, the rules for mine will be a little different. Most of the forum rules will still apply, but the prize is different, so that makes the "don't asked for named pets from Minifang" rule kinda obsolete.

So, rules!
1) Only Ny'vene designs, please.
2) Post both male and female variations for your design. It helps me to see both genders, since they can look different, and it may sway my opinion as the judge in your favor.
3) Respect other participants! They worked really hard on their design, and they deserve to be treated fairly.
4) Follow the rules, and HAVE FUN!!!

Now, for the prompt.

The prompt is MUSIC GENRES!!
What I mean by this is that you can pick 3 different music genres, and make a design/ color palette for each genre. I saw color palette because I will allow different traits between the male and female of the pair, as long as their colors are the same.

To clarify, I could have a male and female under the design palette of the music genre "Country Music" and I could have different traits on each as long as the colors are the same. I could also do the same with the other 2 genres I picked, like, for example, "Opera" and "Ragtime".

Finally, the PRIZE!!!

The prize for this contest is an offspring of two of my Ny'venes of your choice (with some exceptions: I have a few project pets that are unable to breed.) AND/OR 50,000 gold. I'm making it a choice because I'm well aware of the chronic stable space issues us Ny'vene lovers seem to have!

Like most of the contests on this forum, this contest will last ONE WEEK.

but i cant post photos or design

Posting photos is pretty simple, but its an odd interface if you aren't used to it. Posting pics pulled from the Sylestian generator is just a few steps. First, make your Ny'vene design. Then, Left click over the image once, and look down the options on the pop-up until you see "Copy Image Address". Then, click that. Go back to your forum post, and press the little blue box at the top of the forum text box labelled IMG.

You will then get an auto-message in your type box inside brackets. it will have two sets of "img" inside brackets, with the latter one having a backslash in front. Left click between the brackets, and the image address you copied will appear. Then, just preview the post to make sure the image is the size you want, and presto! Design posted.

As for the designing portion, just go to the "Generator" under the "Explore" tab at the top of your screen. Then, pick your species (it should be Ny'vene for the contest, and the list of species is in alphabetical order) and start designing! There aren't any wrong answers, here, it's just dependent on whether you followed the rules and if you like what you made.
