"I know the feeling. When someone you like finds joy in another, it can be hard. But he seems loyal to you, a guy like that is worth keeping around."

At that answer she lowered her ears feeing as if she hadn't helped at all. Had she just made it worse? Tiredly she lay down though sleep didn't come. After a bit she got up to go find some flowers to eat.

there seemed to be a little flower grove deeper in the woods but out of sight of the others....

Carefully she hopped towards the grove, keeping low to the ground her ears twitching at the slightest of sounds. Nervously her nose twitches, sniffing the air to smell for danger.

You could smell something big up in the clearing ahead but it did not have a particularly dangerous smell

you could see to large gray horns but that was about it thanks to the dense foliage
