"What are you going to teach me tonight?" Frost asked.

"You are going to learn how to feel the ground and listen to the air" Lunar leaf said placing the last leaf and letting it sit to dry

"Okay.. How does the air make sound?" Frostpup licked his paw after eating the fresh-kill Featherpup brought him. Feather found it weird. They weren't apprentices yet, why would they start already?

"That you will find out... its not something I can explain to you its something you will learn and I believe fairly quickly." Lunar leaf said sitting down, "but the first part of you training can begin now. what do you smell.." she asked nudging him to sit up

Frostpup sniffed. "Dirt.. You.. Featherpup.. Badgerpelt and mostly herbs." He said.

She nodded "Good, But try again try to find a different smell Something sweet" she said glancing back at the freshly watered lavender

"Uhh..." He stood up and followed the scent. Before he knew he bumped into the lavender. "Here it is!"

Good, That is Lavender the smell s masked until it is watered.... the smell is released as the plant grows" she said quite proud of his progress as this lavender's scent was faint

"It smells nice." He said. Featherpup watched her brother train.

" Yes It is one of my favorites, It can be used to heal minor wounds, And is also used as a sleep aid, one other important thing about lavender is that it can be used to drain out infection, and prevent it from setting in " she explained
