Sam woke up to the sound of talking and claws clicking against cement outside the train. Yawning, he hopped off the seat that made up his bed.

Padding out of his room, he nearly bumped into Katana while still in a half-asleep state, "S'rry, Sweetheart! N'rly ran into ya! How are you feeling?

"Decent.. " she said with a soft smile " what woke you?"

Sam hummed, "The usual for late nights, talkin' and pawsteps. It's annoyin' sometimes, but it's hard to stay negative when everyone's happy."

She chuckled " I Understand " She swayed her tail letting it fall gently over her Paws. She flattened her ears slightly she wished she had listened earlier when they were telling her to take it easy her paws felt like they were on fire

Seeing Katana fidget, not keeping her paws on the floor for more than a couple seconds each before switching again, Sam gently said, "If your paws still hurt, we can go to the office building another day with Jackie or later today with Ben and Chloe after the meeting at midnight."

She glanced at him slightly surprised by his concern " I'll be Okay... we need to find that kid for them" she shifted again " Trust me I'll let you know If I need to stop"

Sam looked at her with stern concern, but accepted her words, "I'll hold you to that promise."

She smiled " good.." Standing and swaying her tail before padding into her room to wake Tiki and Thomas. she returned With the bag straped around her waist and a sweet soft Smile"Ready when you are"

Kato Padded about the streets Trying to follow her scent, but the trail was so faded ti was pointless. Frustrated and Lost he sat down in the alleyway outside of the Metal hose where he last caught her scent. he sighed talking to himself " I really hope she is okay.... "
