Orion sat up. "That would be great if there was a radio in there," he said excitedly. Not as good as my sister blacksmithing though....

"Yeah, I hope so," Ember said. Most likely I'll get jealous again. Geez Ember, it's not like you can have A'ine all to yourself! Ember shoved her thoughts away, trying to focus on her hair which was being braided.

Alderic sighed. "But it will never sound like sisters..." He pulled out a little hand held radio that had a sticky note on it. He sighed and put his glasses on. "Thank you, Bergetia!" He said as he found the cord to it in the same bag.

A'ine groaned. "Stop thinking like that! You can have me all to yourself. Well most of the time." She said tugging one Ember's hair a bit. "And besides, you're the first person I mind-spoke to and it seems easiest with you."

"Yeah... nothing sounds like sisters besides sisters... and maybe brothers, but I wouldn't know 'cause I don't have one," Orion said, sighing too. "It's better than silence though...." he said, lying down again. "So what are your sister's names? Bergetia and...?"

Ember smiled. "I guess I was just irritated with myself for feeling jealous of Jora of all people. She has is worse than me...." Ember was relieved that A'ine hadn't minded, but a bit embarrassed that she hadn't explained earlier.

Alderic laughed a little. "Bergetia, Lilly and Tendance are my triplet younger sisters. Then there's Treas she's older then me. And the oldest of us all Marcia." He plugged in the radio and looked back in the bag. "And Tendance loves me too!" He pulled out some CDs that had a note claiming that Tendance knew Bergetia would forget them.

A'ine smiled a pulled the hair tie off her wrist and fastened Ember's hair. "You have no idea how bad she has it..." A'ine shivered a little at the thought of Jora's mind and memories.

"All sisters then. How's it being the only boy?" Orion asked, grinning when Alderic pulled the CD's out. "I have one older sister, Artemis," he said.

"Which is why I was upset at myself for being jealous of her. It was selfish," Ember said, explaining further.

Alderic smiled slyly yawning. "You'd think I'd get spoiled a little. Alas, that's not the case. I got to do all the 'manly' chores then if I called the other chores un-manly I'd have to do them." He sighed leaning back in bed.

A'ine glared at her friend. "Everyone's jealous sometimes. I was jealous of A'eda'n for a while even when I saw how the other kids would try and treat him. They thought he was just too weird." She sighed. "Well we'd better try and sleep school's approaching."

Orion laughed. "Pretty far from being spoiled," he said, grinning behind his hand. He scooted back to he could lean against the head of his bed. "So, are you going to put the radio on, or would it disturb our neighbors?" he asked, gesturing to the wall behind him with his thumb on the word 'neighbors'.

Ember laughed softly. "Okay, I'll keep that in mind... Let's go to bed," she said, scooting forward and slid under her covers again.

Alderic chuckled a little. "Of course I'm putting it on. Do you like classic rock, circus music or just louder classic music better?" He thought for a bit. "By louder I mean more of those booming drums."

A'ine smiled and crawled off of Ember's bed and got under the covers of her own. They still felt strange to her. She was used to a little coral plateau without any blankets.

"Pick a random one, I don't care, as long as it makes noise," Orion says. "Huh. What are the big booming drums you were talking about called again? I swear they have a specific name...." he said, trying to remember.

Ember lay on her side, trying to fall asleep.

Alderic smiled and took off his glasses. "No better way to make it a random one." He said as he put his glasses down. "It beats me and don't tell Treas, she'd have my head for not knowing, she's a music nut." He picked up one of the CDs and put it in. It turned out to be the circus music one and started with the suspense song he did his aerial stunts with.

A'ine sighed trying to sink into her bed. She sighed again wishing she could hear the bubbles raising like back home.
