He then smiled at the sky, the sun dipping fully below the horizon. He beat his wings a few times and brought them above the flowing layer of clouds, letting them hover in place a moment and spend some time in the soft poof-poofs and darkening sky that was starting to be speckled with stars.

Vexin hoped they had some time, he wanted to just stay in this type of peace with Electa as long as possible. Away from worries, the probably ending world.
