Kaladin inhaled sharply at the storm caller's condition. "...Houston, I'll take that offer to get Douglas now..." He said stiffly, before running off to get some supplies.

(Do you want to control the stormcaller or do you want me to?)
Houston ran off to get Douglas. He half dragged half ran to get Douglas there.
"Why are you," Douglas saw the stormcaller and got to work.

(Ah, sure. I need an excuse to use Scottish slang.)

"Name's Locke..." The stormcaller managed. "...Locke Tripwhiska,"
Kaladin promptly returned, arms full.

"Stay down Locke and stay awake." Douglas tried his best to wrap Locke's wounds, "Kaladin how did he get on this ship?"
Selkie shivered.

"Do you want the truth or a believable lie?" Kaladin asked rhetorically. "Selkie's dragon brought him up." He answered.

"Why am I not suprised," Douglas finished bandaging Locke up, "Get another blanket Kaladin."
"I got it covered," Houston held a blanket in his arms.
Douglas looked back in suprise then wrapped the blanket around Locke, "Are you willing to answer a few questions?"

"...Ahck. So long it's within reason, ah suppose. Yes did save me, afta all...." Locke weakly allowed. Kaladin hopped up onto the crate beside Selkie, patient.

"Why were you on the pirate ship," Douglas paciently asked.
Selkie stirred slightly still shivering.

Locke glanced down. "Wasn't my choice, exactly, ye see. Well, it was, but wasn't. I was sailin' with me mates as usual, an' all of o' sudden, Ah hear's fighting' on deck. Ta put a long story short, me an' me mates was captured. Ah was a stormcalla', too value-a-ble to slaughta. Tis a sin, I tell ye, but Ah suppose it can't be helped..."

"A sin and a gift in some cases. You are not the only stormcaller on this ship but know you are safe here Locke," Douglas told him, "What did the pirate have you do?"
Selkie coughed.
