Saras pointed his gauss rifle at him.
''Get back here, or your left horn disappears.''

He continued to walk out the door, paying no mind to Saras' threats.

Saras fired his laser. Half of the left horn fell away.

(dude, seriously, why? what did Traqil do to deserve that? He's a flipping singer at a night club. Protecting the humans doesn't pay full time.)

He felt his head numb as he could no longer sort out his thoughts. Utter pain rushed through him. He was left trembling on the floor, watching the blood drip from where his horn used to be.

"screw y-you." He managed to stutter.

(He should have said that.)
Saras
''I told you to stop. But you didn't. And I don't bluff.''

(Traqil is entitled to his own private life. Had Saras been his partner or something like that, this would have gone differently.)

He could feel his vision blurring. The amount of nerves in his horn that had just been shot off was overloading his senses.

(Saras is still hurting from his missing arm right now. He's going to the extreme.)

Saras knelt, and injected painkiller into the damaged horn.

(Gotcha. I'm not mad, but Zeth sure as hell is about to be XD)

"D-don't touch m-me."
He groaned as he felt himself slipping into unconsciousness, to which he couldn't help but succumb to.
This may seem a bit overkill for just a horn, but each horn has the sensitivity of three or so human nervous systems packed into one organ. This is every Saqlirian's weak point. One good hit here, and they'd be out cold for a good while.

(At least is was a cut, rather than a break.)

Saras got the severed horn in his hand, and looked at it, hoping to be able to repair the damage, though he knew it was unlikely.
