Waitresses in brown dresses bustled about, refilling coffee cups and carrying trays piled high with cholesterol-laden food. Electa's stomach growled as she pulled a battered plastic menu from between the salt and pepper shakers. They'd been living off of gas station sandwiches for almost two days now.
