I smiled, "Good. The grocery store is only a short walk from here." I walked outside and waited for him to walk outside before locking the door.

"Humans aren't prey. We're their prey." I said. "They may be weaker, but they have technology on their side. Er, your side."

(not trying to control ypur character here. There was no other way for me to put it.)

(Don't worry about it. There's some things you gotta word that way. I understand.)

I nodded. "Yeah we do. Why don't you improve your technology?" I asked confused. I looked around before realizing they didnt have cars.

I shrugged, "Magic messes with technology, rendering it useless. But if the technology is powerful enough to resist magic, it messes with magic." I walked a little, hoping for no encounter with anyone else.

I was wrong. I walked into a werewolf.

(Uh, who controls the werewolf Slade was dumb-ish enough to walk into? Me or you?)

(Akira pov)
"Well why don't you combine it?" I ask before Slade bumped into a werewolf. "Sorry sir." I apologized.


(Werewolf pov)
"Watch were you're going." It snarled out.

(Akira pov)
"Excuse me?" I asked with one eyebrow arched. "Who do you think you are?" I asked him. I was ticked and upset that he was being so rude.

"Don't worry about it," I paused, remembering his name, "Akira."

I took a good look at the werewolf, then stared into its eyes. "I'm sorry." I said. "I believe we've-" I stopped myself from saying any further. No, I haven't met him before, but I had a hunch on what he thought I was. I might have to prove I'm not a human.

I hope Akira was right about liking all animals.

(Werewolf pov)
"What do we have here?" I asked looking at the two tailed monster and the shadow wolf. "You haven't told him what you really are have you?" I asked trying to provoke a fight with him.

(Akira pov)
"I know you're really are a jerk." I snapped at him glaring. I felt the tails puff up as I got angry. "How about you leave us alone before I make you?" I asked trying to make my tone threatening.

(Werewolf pov)
I smirked at the two tailed creature. "A shrimp like you? What can you do?" I asked and backed put of his reach. I didn't feel like getting burned. "Don't let what happened to her happen to him." I told the shadow wolf.

(Arkira pov)
I glared at him. "You screwed up." I growled. I walked up to the werewolf and punched his nose; breaking it. "That's what I can do." I said coldly. "Are we done here Slade?" I asked.

(Two things: One, it's three tails, not two. And two, Slade is no longer a shadow wolf. Not trying to be mean or anything.)

I growled at the werewolf. "You... You were there, weren't you?" I left the question hanging. I grabbed Akira's hand and ran to the grocery store.

(Sorry. I was kinda leaving it as the werewolf didn't know.)

"Yeah this is great and all, but my legs are not as long as yours so if we could slow down. A little?" I asked panting. I tried to keep up, but being short doesn't help when someone is practically dragging you. "Slade, buddy, slow the heck down before I fall!" I exclaimed.

I slow down. "Sorry," I said. "I'd shred that werewolf if I didn't run." I looked around, seeing that we were now in front of the grocery store. I checked to see if I had my wallet.

Yup, I did.

"So what do we need from here?" I asked trying to get his mind off of being mad and trying to relieve the tension that had happened to build up.
