Birdpaw lay in his nest, he was forced to stay there because he had been out of camp for a long time and everyone had been looking for him. Looking outside he thought he had seen Mossfeather, but dismissed it because the cat he had seen had wings. He rested his head on his paws, starting to drift to sleep.

Eagleclaw walked out of his den and let out a tiny his when he saw a unknown cat fly to there camp. Opening his wings he flew to the cat, he stopped when he recognized her "Mossfeather?"

She looked over"hey Eagleclaw"she mewed

"You have wings," he said shocked before he got over his shock to ask "why are you here?"

Well you see I came here because I need to speak to one of your apps"she mewed shyly

"If you don't mind me asking why," he asked politely a little confused at the matter.

Um just to see if he had seen any rouges by the border"she mewed

Eagleclaw gave her a suspicious glance but meawed reluctantly "okay, but I'll be waiting outside," he flew to the apprentices den and sat down, waiting.

She flew over going inside"Birdpaw?"she mewed

Birdpaw lifted his head, still half asleep "let me sleep Eagleclaw," he muttered laying his head back on his paws.
