"Since the others are out on a scouting mission, they can't work any jobs now. You take care of the two here, I'll go get a job. She gulped and stayed warily on the edge of the crowd, slightly uncomfortable. She looked around Bristol Cathedral and went along the side, into the two arches which led into a separate part of the cathedral. There she was sheltered and could see across the streets.

She stretched her hands out, begging, letting her hair fall messily down and not removing it from her face as she hoped for a bit of extra change, being a street rat in the eyes of the church, she felt guilty but had to do it for food. Her stomach rumbled.

She tried to climb up the decorative signs to look in through the windows, they were made of a beautiful stained glass and the colours made her eyes sparkle in happiness. The church was rich and she knew they deserved it, being the house of the Lord.

You can see inside and as you watch the people start to sing, voices rising and falling in unison, you knew they would sing a few songs for the first part then hold a moment of silence.

She raspily tried to sing along with them, imagining she had a violin and could play the music to accompany the organ.
