I let out a sigh. It was probably better that he didn't know.. as the whole 'cursed to fall in love with someone' thing would be rather odd..

Thunder poked his head into the dungeon. "Everything okay down here? I heard roaring and ringing and..."
He noticed the collapsed form of his fellow guard and the broken bars of the cage. A second later he noticed the form of Nightfang, out of his cell, and Starlight by his father.
"Halt, prisoner. Starlight, let's go back upstairs."
