*Looks at midnight and then feels my cheek. That was where my tactoo was and midnight glows and goes to my tactoo. Then I walk the other direction.*

"Okay everyone, we've arrived" The captain called. Everyone started walking off the ship into the giant fort.

*I walk of the ship*

"Shadow" blue called as she slipped out from under her bed seemingly nervous. Blue looked around and smiled as a ferret ran up to her. "Shadow! There you are!" Blue said with a laugh.

Sylver and Rhys were sparring together, there was an issue with Evelyn fighting for the first time and getting overwhelmed by her crow's ability, so she had the day off. The two were evenly matched, Sylver mostly fighting with graceful but brute strength, and Rhys fighting with speed and less powerful but more frequent attacks, though the two were evenly matched in the end.

Blue walked downstairs shadow by her side. Blue sighed and walked over to the window. She heard her mom and dad arguing over some business related subject.

After training, they met up with Kai, who was talking to another boy about his age. "Hey guys, we're going out on a recruitment mission and maybe a nectar ceremony, I'll see you guys in a few days, promise you'll write?" He said to them. Sylver nodded "Of course!" She said, Rhys nodded in agreement.

Blue closed her eyes and tried to imagine a perfect world but opened her eyes when she realized such a world could not exsist.

Rhys went over to read in the library, while Sylver decided to spend some time with Evelyn, who was in a garden, her crow perched on her shoulder. Though Evelyn still looked tense, she still looked at peace. "Hey Eve" Sylver said quietly.

Blue sighed and began to pet shadow. "Oh shadow, whatever shall we do, I can't keep hiding forever. Eventually a time will come where I won't be able to hide, then what will I do?" She said
