Alastair smiled and took River's hand. "Don't be scared alright? There's nothing to be afraid of right now." He whispered as he climbed up onto the stage.

Martin shivered a bit in fear of this man, Reed. He slowly made his way up onto the stage, Molly following close behind him.

I keep looking onward as I speak to Kane, "I hope we don't get stuck with a lame acronym."

Kane - "It's the easy way to say our team name." Kane turned back to the stage, his partner, she clearly did not see his eyes.

River relaxed a little when he took her hand. She gave him a small nervous smile and tried to look calm. Her feet stayed perfectly in step with his as they went up the stage. She held his hand tightly as they stood there. Still scared, but did her best not to show it. She stayed close to him as she waited.

Myra smiled and gave Franz a nod of approval and head back down to her seat. She watched the next group intently.

Pinging every one, come on guys get back with it!

"When is this gonna be over? I need dinner, we're all gonna starve if this goes on much longer. Can't the old wakadoodle get this over with and go a little faster," I think to myself as I continue waiting for this to be over and done.

Kane - Kane was angry now. "Do you even know who he is? He could kill you in the time it takes you to blink! Why would you even come to this school if you don't know respect!? That wakadoodle standing on stage right now is Headmaster Reed Manor, the greatest Protector to ever live!!!"

Ok, now we have a problem. Kane can't read minds, I was thinking that statement.


Kane and me continue watching the teams get picked and get a team captain.

(That is his power, every student has a power, he is blind, so he can read minds because he cant see facial expressions. It also helps him in battle to know the enemy's next move. You person just doesn't know that, and Kane keeps it a secret.)

"It seems that I know his power now, that means there's weaknesses I can now exploit. Once I find out all the students power I'll have the upper hand, cause nobody will ever find out mine......" I chuckle evilly as I mumble this. They better get used to it cause it's a bad habit of mine.
