Damian shook his head, "I never thought about the army." He said rubbing his forehead. He was so oblivious to things tat should be important to him. It was so ridiculous. "Do they let you smoke in the army?" He asked, knowing it was a completely random question.

Tao and Nicky smiled. " Nicky smokes...so if he can't...he's in huge trouble...like a lot of the other solders! " Tao said, smiling.
Nicky nodded. " Expect me to die at 80..." he joked, laughing afterwards.

Cassie shifted her neck and popped it. It was still sore from her sleep last night and she couldn't seem to get it back in the right place. Stopping in front of a large oak, she turned and smiled at Damian. She was hungry and couldn't wait to dig in. She took her seat in the middle of the tree, she thought it was the best spot, it had this indent right there that she could lean her back against and be comfortable.

Damian sat a little further away from the tree, he didn't need back support and would be fine. Sitting the basket in between Cassie and him he opened the lid. "So what do you guys want? Sandwich?" He asked with a small smile. He pulled out a container that held what looked like coleslaw in it and handed it to Cassie. It wasn't COleslaw, it was something he would always make for her.

The two boys sat next to each other, not near the tree and slightly closer to Damian. " That would be nice, thanks " Tao said and Nicky just nodded and held his hand out for one.
Tao sighed. " You know no manners Nicky..." he muttered to himself, no one hearing him and if they did, was probably hard to hear what he said.

Damian smiled and handed the guys two sandwiches each. He pulled out a sandwich and unwrapped it. He was ready to fill his stomach and then lay in the grass and moss and fall asleep. It had been a long day at work and he just wanted it to end.

Cassie popped open the lid and dipped her spoon inside. It smelled good like always. Like mayonnaise and mustard mixed with tomato and turkey. There was more but those were the strongest smells.

The two boys ate their sandwiches slowly as they savored the taste of meat and bread and a bit of butter. It was great tasting to them because of being so used to plain, tasteless slop like food at the army.
Nicky leaned back on one arm and finished his sandwich when Tao had only eaten half of his. Nicky smiled as he licked his fingers. " That was tasty..."
Tao nodded in response to his friend.

Damian smiled and couldn't help but make a joke, "Thanks! The main ingredient was cat tail." He said with a small smile and took another bite out of his sandwich. He wondered if these two could take a joke or if they would force themselves to throw up.

Cassie bit her tongue to keep from laughing. She knew he was lying because he didn't have the heart to be able to hurt a cat and she knew they didn't sell cat at the local super market. Well, the last time she went there was a few years ago but she was pretty sure.

Tao caught onto the joke and smiled. " Mmm...lovely! Send me the recipe will you? " he joked before laughing.
Nicky just looked puzzled and slightly grossed out before he realized the joke. " Haha! " he said, doing a very bad fake laugh and looked away. " Good joke...you didn't fool me though! "

Cassie started grunting because she was tring to hold back a laugh. "You fell for it..." She said in a squeaky voice. She couldn't stop smiling and finally broke out laughing. "Oh My God!!! That wasn't even a good joke." She said and fell over, holding her stomach.

Nicky looked embaressed and quickly looked away. " No I didn't! I knew it was a joke! No way someone would put cat tails in their sandwiches..." he said, his voice drifting off as he heard Tao and Cassie laughing hard. " Your mean! "
