She tilts her head. "Well, there's quite a few intern jobs open if you're interested. Mostly military things, of course, but you could also get a job helping Venna and I."

He smiled. *whats the job with you pay?*

"About the same as any other internship; a living wage plus a good amount to be saved or spent. Nothing frivolous, but plenty to cover expenses." She flicks her tail and smiles. "Plus when Venna's feeling generous, he might give you some of his W.I.P. tech to test out. If it's 'defective' you get to keep it, and knowing Venna a lot of the time it's not actually defective."

*what kind of tech? What can it do?*

"Stuff like this." She gestures to the tablet she's holding. "Plus weaponry, but he doesn't let interns test out realm-wrecking explosives. For obvious reasons."

He grinned and held out a hand. *you got yourself an intern.*

She smiles and shakes his hand. "Glad to hear it. Everybody always wants to go work for Makura instead, so it'll be nice to have somebody other than Venna and Vie around!"
