"You don't know him!?" The bandit proceeds to describe the quest-giver. "Dark brown hair, green eyes, red played armor that gives him more of a scorpion appearance, barefoot. He's bad news, even if he doesn't seem like it at first."

The bandits all fight until they can't, and if they aren't finished then and there they start running for their lives. Scorpion may not have given them the time of day, but who's to say he won't change his mind?

"Oh the quest-giver,'' Dachi says, "so what did you steal from him?"

Akimi walks over, "And that's that so if the bandits regroup we wipe them out again right?"
"Yes Aka we do, " Konkoshi says.
"Kon don't call me Aka or I'll call you Kon.''
Dachi shakes his head chuckling.

"It's ridiculous until you know the story behind it. Take it and either give me mercy or I'm running in a hopeless escape attempt to keep it only for a worse fate." The bandit tosses over a horse's bridle, which is wrapped in a cloth. Even through the cloth, whoever catches it can feel energy running through it... and it isn't a pleasant feeling. "And don't touch it directly, none of us wanted to find out the consequences put of the many rumors."

Konkoshi catches it smiling, "A horse bridle? So what does this do make a monster rideable? Also you aren't going anywhere until we get more info.''
"Please,'' Akimi adds.
"How about we discuss over tea,'' Dachi says calmly walking a distance off, "Come it'll help us all calm down and no it isn't poison.''

"Asking the owner what it does will get you the best answer possible if you can get one from him. At this point, I'm a dead man walking, so ask away." The bandit practically shies away from the question of what it does, and for multiple reasons.

"What do you know about the boss of this level,'' Akimi asks as Dachi hands the bandit a cup of warm tea.
"What information are you willing to tell us,'' Dachi asks calmly, "we won't harm you I promise just don't make Konkoshi angry... well angier.''

(I should've reminded you that ELO was after SAO and that it took place in ELO after SAO'S events. Sorry. Will still answer to the whatever the bandit is willing to say though. As a reminder to this because I failed to do so previously, ELO is an open map where a player can run around and just enjoy and roam or they can seek out the story the land offers.)
"There's a lot of rumors surrounding that bridle and Scorpion. Asking him can prove risky when he's in a foul temper, and taking from him seals anyone's death. Most notably and unmistakable is the corruption potential Scorpion has."

(Oh sorry being awake for too many days in a row sucks then being woken up at 6:00 in the morning due to my alarm turning itself on is worse)

"So why did you steal this anyways," Akimi asks, "especially since you knew how bad this guy is. What do you think would happen if we kept the bridle?"

The bandit's eyes widen. "If you keep that bridle Scorpion will hunt you down. If he doesn't get to you before you actually touch it without having the cloth between your skin and itself, that's pure mystery. He'll kill you for stabbing him in the back and for taking something that's his. We had a large offer, alright? The group here banded together. It was larger, but we had casualties."

Konkoshi nods once, "Alright I'll return this cursed object can't blame me for being curious though. Does this world even have horses?"
Dachi sighs quietly, "Any more information you're willing to tell us?"
